This week’s Travel Theme by Where’s my backpack is Camaraderie.
I went through all the photos I’ve taken, keeping in mind the theme, and found that the album with most photos that brought to mind camaraderie, friendship and sticking together was the one about my time in Pokhara, Nepal. The children in the house had a bond of love, even against the hard circumstances they had lived, that is beautiful and inspiring to see.
During most evenings of the year, in China, Ayi’s (aunties) get together in any free space they can find around towns or cities, and dance different routines for a few hours.
I had the fortune of living in Vancouver, Canada at the time of the Winter Olympics. Me and some friends (and what looked like everybody else in the city) headed out to the streets to see the Hokey final. Canada won at the last minute, and the celebration was endless.
I was with my sister and two of my cousins visiting my mom in Tenerife, Spain. While sitting at the beach we spotted a group of women (older than us), very much enjoying their friendship with a day at the beach.
During one of my visits to Connecticut my sister and I played with our shadows to create fun photos. I can’t think of Camaraderie without thinking of my sister.
